Weronika Marianna is a self-taught visual artist working with experimental animation, painting, print and ceramics. She is best known for hand painted animated paintings set in vibrant humanoid universes, questioning the idea of human body, transformations and time.
She shows her works in galleries, as well as collaborates with selected clients. She has been commissioned by the New York Times, Vice, Penguin Random House and Philharmonic in Hamburg, and often works with musicians.
Her work has been supported by the residency in Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and scholarships from Dutch and Polish institutions.
Originally from Warsaw, Poland, Weronika is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
