Lunatic Drawing

“Drawings (...) encapsulate analysis and emotion, but they are also a value in themselves. I don’t strive to be pretty, nice or elegant in them. I am myself”.

— Stasys Eidrigevicius (Lithuanian artist)

I turn to drawing in much the same way I turn to journaling: in order to gain access to the inner landscapes and my personal truth. However, drawing has the ability to express what words often cannot. The ambiguity of images allows us to tap into deeper, more profound spaces—where poetry and magic reside.

Through my workshops, I share the exercises that support my own daily practice. I’ve had the pleasure of leading many workshops internationally, and my program is open to all, regardless of experience in drawing or art. It’s about connection and exploration, rather then creating a final piece.

My workshops are a form of gentle meditation. The series of exercises guide participants through connecting with both body and mind, relaxing into the practice, exploring archetypal and poetic imagery and finding ease in letting intuition take the lead.

At the heart of my artistic endeavors lies drawing. My belief in its potent power led me to build a technique I call "lunatic drawing," a form of intimate and immediate introspection through drawing.
